So tired...Must sleep....

Gabby was very tired this morning but would not settle down. In fact, she was very cranky. I couldn't even fold laundry because she would just grab it and throw it to the floor. I gave up and put her in her crib to watch Sesame Street until I finished the laundry. One minute she was laughing at Cookie Monster and the next minute......

I have a headache!

The Official Party Part 1

Gabby had her 3rd but official party today for her birthday. She had so much fun! I didn't realize how small our family room was until I tried to squeeze 8 kids and their parents into it! LOL! The kids didn't seem to notice though.

I was hard to get good shots of Gabby - she was just so darned active....

What was Daddy thinking?

Grandmama and Daddy got a set of drums for Gabby's birthday....she's not too bad either! Here she is with Uncle Jade before the party...

Pat and Rudy :)

We just wanted to say thank you to Pat and Rudy (Uncle C's parents) for always thinking of Gabby. Gabby received a beautiful Zoe birthday card in the mail from them last week! Not only was it thoughtful, but Gabby happens to be on a Sesame Street kick right now so it was very appropriate and brought a smile to our faces, including Gabby's.

Thanks again, you are very special people (just like your son)

Turkey or Chicken?

Funny Gabby story:

It is very hard to get Gabby to eat any protein foods. She won't eat meat or beans or anything like that but I did notice that she would eat the turkey out of the turkey club wraps from a store here in town. She really liked it too! Seeing this I bought some turkey from the deli but she wouldn't eat it. I went back and bought a different kind - wouldn't eat it. Repeat step over and over buying every kind of turkey they sold in the deli but she refused to eat it! It would just end up in the garbage because I wont eat it. Over time I spent a lot of money on these wraps just to give her the turkey out of them. Today while shopping I asked the lady in the deli what kind of turkey is in the wrap. Turns out that they use CHICKEN in the wraps!!!! I bought some of the chicken, brought it home and gave it to Gabby. She ate every bit of it!!!!!!!!!! YIKES! I could have saved myself some money! :)

And just for Auntie D who says Gabby is starting to look drunk or drugged in her pictures, here is another. She just won't pose for the camera like she used to!

Easter Break

We spent the weekend in Edmonton and met up with Grandmama. We had a great time. We did lots of shopping (nothing new there!) and had an outing at Chuck E Cheese's with Ricky, Dee, Cameron, Stephanie, Grandmama, Nana, Poppy, and Jade. It was great fun! Here are some highlights...and lowlights...LOL!
